Connect & Care: A case study (re-post: 2018)
<p>Being new to the development scene, <strong>building application is the best way to prove what you’re capable of when applying to companies</strong>. Building projects to build your portfolio is cool, but having the chance to work on impactful projects like this are usually hard to come by. Luckily, I was referred by a friend to work on a project called <a href="https://www.builtinchicago.org/2018/08/21/connect-care-charitable-giving-app" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank"><em>Connect & Care</em></a>. Connect & Care is one of the first major applications I have built and released. <strong>Being the only developer in this project, I have gotten the chance to play different roles ranging from UI/UX designer, to backend engineer.</strong> I really enjoyed working on this project and building it has allowed me to grow exponentially as a developer.</p>
