Connect & Care: A case study (re-post: 2018)

<p>Being new to the development scene,&nbsp;<strong>building application is the best way to prove what you&rsquo;re capable of when applying to companies</strong>. Building projects to build your portfolio is cool, but having the chance to work on impactful projects like this are usually hard to come by. Luckily, I was referred by a friend to work on a project called&nbsp;<a href="https://www.builtinchicago.org/2018/08/21/connect-care-charitable-giving-app" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank"><em>Connect &amp; Care</em></a>. Connect &amp; Care is one of the first major applications I have built and released.&nbsp;<strong>Being the only developer in this project, I have gotten the chance to play different roles ranging from UI/UX designer, to backend engineer.</strong>&nbsp;I really enjoyed working on this project and building it has allowed me to grow exponentially as a developer.</p> <p><a href="https://medium.com/@marq.career/connect-care-a-case-study-re-post-2018-0ae1eb1d0fc9"><strong>Click Here</strong></a></p>
