US Second Amendment takes Quarantine off the table for conflict resolution

The Second Amendment to the US Constitution protects the right to bear arms – now interpreted to be an individuals right rather than the more obvious Militia (eg National Guard) option.

Sadly, disarmament is no longer an option considered by police or armed forces. This means whenever a military “police action” is prosecuted, force seems to be the only option if compliance is not achieved, with civilians sadly caught on the crossfire.

Rather than risk or waste US lives, a Quarantine works by surrounding an area of conflict, say a village or town, with a ring of steel. Temporary camps are set up outside to receive civilians – the major one receiving aid and shelter, and the interim one waiting for uncertain people to get clearance. The key is total disarmament of those who come out. No arms, IED material or left in their hands
