White People & Conflict In Black Community Spaces

Whether we are intentional about it or not, everything we say and do, including what we write, comes from a series of lenses, intentions, and frameworks that help us shape the beliefs and narratives behind our actions. My intention for this paper is to offer what I have attained in my education of intersectionality and transformative justice and use intersectionality and transformative justice as I currently understand it, to create the framework in which I explore what I believe should be the response, role, and behaviors of white community organizers, members, and groups when they are in shared spaces with black community organizers, members, and groups that are in conflict with each other. Some of these ideas can and do overlap when we are not a part of other marginalized groups in conflict, and even a little when we are talking about what it means to be in a space with two different marginalized groups who are in conflict,
