Let us begin: what’s the difference between comenzar and empezar?
<p>If someone asked me what the difference is between start and begin in English, I’d say that there isn’t one, not really. Sure, one might be more commonly used than the other, but they mean the same exact thing.</p>
<p>The same is true of empezar and comenzar. They both mean the same thing and can be used interchangeably, and one may be used more commonly than another, but that depends on what part of the world you’re in and who you’re talking to, so it’s not worth trying to parse out here and explicitly tell you which to use.</p>
