Colouring the (NHS) lines.

Apartheid you say? Yes, it is. It is segregated visible and invisible lines, more so of the latter, subconsciously and consciously. Have you ever worked with staff who are racist and the only thing they can do is to avoid talking to you or try to boss you about and do nothing themselves? The desire to validate themselves that they are ferior when they are not. That silence and compliance are expected from staff from the global majority. How dare to say anything? Lives will be made difficult if they do, hence why many staff from the global majority who I have spoken to over the years do not feel empowered to speak to a Speak Up Guardian. And it is true, having used it myself as I am still waiting for an update two years down the line following an investigation. The CEO who I met initially is completely silent in the correspondence. You would think that they would be concerned but it seems like it is truly a family and friends business the NHS. It is who you know, related to and not what you know.
