It all started when papa left and we were powerless to stop him. I remember that day so vividly even though I was young&hellip; you never forget moments like that, the ones that change you forever. It was a very cold winter Sunday, the snow was falling heavily outside and there was a distinct smell of cologne mixed with cinnamon from mama&rsquo;s baking mixed in the air.
