White Fir Springs Agate Beds in the Ochoco Mountains is a public Rockhounding spot located 27 miles NE of the small city of Prineville Oregon. It's surrounded by pine trees and a very quiet place to explore. You can get there in a standard vehicle during May thru October, but you will need a vehicle equipped with 4wheel drive because the forest road is not maintained in the winter months.
