<p>When you google information about brain disabilities/diseases and violence, all of the information available is about how the victims of domestic violence can end up suffering some sort of brain trauma/injury. There is minimal to no information publicly available for caretakers to help them mentally or physically when they encounter violence at the hands of their disabled loved ones, caretakers (like myself) often feel absolutely terrified during these violent outbursts. We suffer the same consequences as people in domestic violent situations, living in fear, but there are no services, information, or even awareness of these violent situations.
