<p>First, it’s not easy to get a place for the Berlin Marathon. The lottery registrations are <a href="https://www.bmw-berlin-marathon.com/en/your-registration/lottery/" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">open right now</a> for next year, closing in early November, at which point they will perform a draw. You have about a 16% chance of getting a place which is better than London where your chances are only 4%!</p>
<p>If you’re lucky and get a place, you’ll still need to pay the entrance fee which has recently gone up to €150 (these days it’s about the same figure in GBP or USD). Comparatively, the entry fee is €110 for Paris and £125 for London.</p>
