The Wall — Berlin Film Series
<p>My first impression of a city culminates from treating the environment like an outdoor space and not the inside of a building. Action and surrounding people dissolve into thin air so that each day can sustain its purpose to refresh the atmosphere and unlock the aperture of a new scene into view.</p>
<p>Sound and conversation emits differently outside versus a room. ‘<em>Blitzkrieg Bop</em>’ by the Ramones bouncing in-between the speakers of my head phones and into my eardrums sustain sound based on memory and repetition — these notes do not condensate or recycle into the clouds above Berlin’s pavement.</p>
