Isn’t This Neat? Radical Nature by Baptiste Debombourg

I love artworks that have a little bit of whimsy to it. The art world can be too serious and a bit up its own ass sometimes, so it’s nice to see works that are not so serious. Add a sprinkle of juxtaposition and interactivity and it’s ten times better.

This is Radical Nature, a public installation by Baptiste Debombourg. Scattered throughout Quebec, Canada are these boulders with vehicle parts attached to them. These attachments turn these boulders into something that resemble vehicles, yet they will never get you anywhere.
