Bad Investment? Why I Decided to Buy a Campervan With Our Hard-earned Savings
<p>We’re so caught up worrying about tomorrow that we often forget our life is happening right now. I’m not an exception, I also have this tendency — I get anxious about the future all the time.</p>
<p>Through higher self-awareness, I noticed spending time imagining future disasters thwarts the spirit within me. I become this passive, spineless guy who’s too afraid to take a chance in life — I don’t like the feeling.</p>
<p>So lately, I’ve been asking myself a lot about what it means to live a meaningful life. I ask myself, ‘Why postpone happiness? Why wait for the perfect moment when life is happening to us right now?’</p>
<p>This month, I made a decision that many of you would view as irresponsible in these troubling times — we bought a campervan. For sure, it was an expensive purchase, and our already dwindling savings took further beating because of it.</p>
