Galaxies and the Deep Interconnection of Everything

<p>After 2 months heavily focused on the autism/neurodiversity special interest, getting bored with reading &ldquo;Neurotribes&rdquo; now that I&rsquo;m on a chapter about tech geeks, and starting up the first semester where my kid will have a full day in school 4 days a week and with my course-teaching load deferred to the second semester (when my husband teaches less and thus can do more house/kid stuff), I&rsquo;m feeling the call to dive deeper into the realm of my professional work, and that&rsquo;s the study of galaxies.</p> <p>Sometimes I have doubted whether I&rsquo;ve chosen the right career, during phases of interest in philosophy and sociology and the weight of all the problems of the world that I don&rsquo;t think technocratic liberalism can solve and that I don&rsquo;t think I can either.
