<p>I’m sure that if I were to attempt a definition of success, someone would contradict me or say that my attempt is incomplete. Well, wouldn’t they be right?</p>
<p>What success means to me may not mean the same thing to you. That’s why it’s important to have a personal definition of success.</p>
<p>I’ve learned that the definition of success can change over time. After having a successful career in a multinational corporation, I wondered if it was all worth it. The answer was: no, it wasn’t! But you know what? I realized this after I had walked the path. With the experience and mental maturity I had gained since the beginning of my journey, I would have bet my life that it was worth it!</p>
<p>So, defining authentic success is an iterative process. Maybe when you go through it for the first time, you need to revisit it more often, and as you add personal experiences and life stories, you’ll need to revisit it all.</p>
