Army Cover-Ups: Rape & Murder
<p>Young people, especially those from lower socio-economic standing are pushed to join the military, with promises of free healthcare and higher education to be paid for by the military funny enough. I think part of the reason that the government in the U.S. doesn’t do more to address these two factors is exactly this, to keep up recruitment numbers.</p>
<p>Something they don’t tell you is that once you’re enlisted you basically lose your rights as a citizen of the U.S. If you get injured for example you can be charged with “damaging government property”.</p>
<p>You also don’t have the same legal recourse as citizens do, cases you bring up will go before a military tribunal to be decided, not a regular court of law.</p>
