A new Supreme Court
<p>The Trump case comes at a time when the court’s approval rating is at an all-time low. The bulk of the American people now feel that the court itself is extremely partisan. There will be entire generations of children that grow up with less rights than that of their parents and even grandparents.</p>
<p>Ever since the passage of Roe v Wade, the religious right, extreme MAGA, and the majority of the Republican party made it their mission to overturn that decision and take reproductive freedom away from millions of people. With the Dobbs decision in 2022, they succeeded — taking away a woman’s right to an abortion. Justices have also <a href="https://time.com/6291641/supreme-court-same-sex-marriage-vulnerable/" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">rolled back protections for LGBTQ people </a>and basic values that we as Americans have held most of our lives.</p>
