5 Bad Habits That Are Ruining Your Life
<p>I used to suffer from a lot of bad habits.</p>
<p>Some of them honestly did ruin my life.</p>
<p>Why?</p>
<p>Because I didn’t think anything was wrong.</p>
<p>My life was terrible, yet I clung to my bad habits like a magnet.</p>
<p>I’ve learnt the lessons the hard way so you don’t have to.</p>
<p>In this article I will cover 5 awful habits that you need to eliminate as soon as possible.</p>
<h1>1. Poor sleep:</h1>

<p>I used to have notoriously bad sleep.</p>
<p>It’s no coincidence that during this period I smoked a lot of weed.</p>
<p>In case you didn’t know, marijuana destroys REM sleep.</p>
<p>For the 3 years I was addicted to cannabis, I don’t remember having a single dream.</p>
<p>As soon as I stopped smoking, the dreams would come flooding back in a stream of unparalleled intensity.</p>
<p>It was wild.</p>
<p>Aside from smoking weed, I used to also go to sleep very late and at random times.</p>
<p>One night I’d be in bed by 12.</p>
<p>The next I’d be in bed at 3.</p>
<p>The inconsistency is a problem.</p>
<p>To have optimal sleep, start going to bed at the same time every night.</p>
<p>Find when works best for you then stick to it.</p>
<p>Also cut back on caffeine.</p>
<p>I haven’t drank coffee since December 2022 and feel incredible.</p>
<p>Prior to this I would drink gallons of coffee and wonder why my sleep was so terrible.</p>
<p>Fixing your sleep is the first step to completely overhauling your life.</p>
<p>It’s not something you can ever take for granted.</p>
<p>Studies have shown that driving while tired is significantly more dangerous than driving drunk.</p>
<p>If that doesn’t inspire you to start taking sleep seriously, I don’t know what will.</p>
