10 Red Flags That Say: This Love Won’t Last
<p>Y<strong>ou’ve got that sneaking feeling that you just might be going down the wrong path with the wrong person, but you’re not quite ready to admit it yet.</strong></p>
<p>It’s understandable, we’ve all been there before. Whether you’ve been together weeks, or months, or even <em>years,</em> there is a very real resistance to let go of a relationship that you once thought might be “it” for you.</p>
<p>It means starting over again, it means letting go of not just a person, but a vision for a future that was beginning to form right in front of you.</p>
<p>The truth is, though, going down the wrong road for a longer amount of time doesn’t magically turn it into the right road. It’s always better to be honest and truthful about what you’re seeing in front of you, and make any necessary adjustments to change course.</p>
<p>That being said — I come from a place where commitment and dedication really mean something — so I <em>do not believe</em> in just throwing something away without first exploring the options that might be able to fix it.</p>
<p>This, though, requires a high level of intention and awareness, because there’s a big difference between trying to “fix” a relationship, and drowning in it.</p>
<p>We <strong>must</strong>, for our own well-being, recognize when ‘enough is enough’ and things simply are not meant to be with someone, despite all of our efforts.</p>
