I didn't think this would take this long but here's the list of sites/programs etc that I use, some of it is piracy related but not all of it.
For Starters-
https://fmhy.net/ - Very straightforward website, good for finding streaming websites but it also has other miscellaneous things on it too.
https://archive.org/ - It's in the name, handy website methinks.
https://rutracker.org/ - This one's pretty good for programs. The entire site is in Russian so use a translator. Also try not to download things without a VPN, your ISP is one thing but literally anyone can check which IPs have downloaded/seeded a torrent.
https://www.qbittorrent.org/ - There's a few different clients out there but I like this one.
https://mullvad.net/en - The VPN that I use. Not much to say about it, it's just good.
https://nextdns.io/ - Pair this with your VPN and you should be fairly good to go. If you use this, make sure you add the DNS to the VPN itself and not just on your network.
https://nyaa.si/ - If you're trying to find something anime/manga related and you're fine with torrenting, go here.
https://kayoanime.com/ - Direct downloads for anime instead of torrents. The sign up can be a bit convoluted but there are instructions on the site. Use a throwaway Gmail. If you don't have one, make one.
https://github.com/pystardust/ani-cli - You can stream anime through your terminal instead of actually going to a site with this. Quality choice can be a bit suspect though.
https://haxmac.cc/ - I don't have a mac anymore but this site was pretty useful when I did have one.
https://pastenow.net/page/rkss/ - Links to art stuff that I use/used.
https://sidestore.io/ - I use this for sideloading on IOS. The setup can be a bit annoying but it's a one time set up for the most part as long as you don't let the app expire. Apps are pretty easy to find after, just search for your app and put IPA after on any search engine.
https://localsend.org/ - Program that allows you to send files from one device to another on a local network. If you have an iPhone, it works like Airdrop for example.
https://jellyfin.org/ - One way to host a media server for yourself. With something like this I can watch the anime that I have downloaded on my PC on my phone or tablet or whatever. You can host images on here but it can get a bit janky if you have too many folders within each other so watch out for that.
https://github.com/mikf/gallery-dl - I use this to download my Pinterest gallery instead of manually downloading each pin one by one. Good for hoarding.
https://www.faststone.org/ - I use this instead of the default windows image viewer because it's a lot lighter on your pc I think.
https://www.7-zip.org/ - WinRAR alternative. They're both free but I prefer 7zip personally.
https://vb-audio.com/Voicemeeter/potato.htm - Audio routing program for windows, pretty tedious to set up but it's handy when you have everything in order.
https://kushview.net/element/ - VST host program. This paired with Voicemeeter allows you to put VSTS directly on to your microphone. If you use OBS for your noise gating, limiting etc then something like this will allow you to use those outside of OBS as well. Elgato wave link can work if you have an Elgato microphone but I don't like that program because of how bloated it is.
https://r1ch.net/projects/twitchtest - If you're having a ton of internet problems while streaming sometimes it can be nice to check this thing and see if you might need to stream on a different server.
https://www.speedguide.net/downloads.php - Another internet tool, this one is a lot more in depth and it isn't solely for twitch. Watch a guide before you mess with things though.
https://www.revouninstaller.com/ - When you uninstall a program, most of the time the program itself is gone but it's files are still on your computer somewhere. This program lets you completely uninstall software along with the residual files.
https://songify.rocks/ - Song request bot that I use. Works for Spotify and YouTube along with some other options.
https://github.com/pear-devs/pear-desktop - YouTube player that I use. Also works with Songify for song requests too.
https://anilist.co/ - Anime tracker
https://myanimelist.net/ - Another anime tracker
https://www.last.fm/ - Music tracker
https://letterboxd.com/ - Movie tracker
https://everynoise.com/ - Website that gives you random songs, pretty fun.
https://radio.garden/ Website that lets you listen to radio stations from around the world. If you're in the UK, go to your Adblocker and block this URL to get it to work properly - https://radio.garden/api/geo
Even though I wrote all of this, don't just blindly download things on the internet. Do your own research on whatever you're going to install. If you're not sure about a website, turn on your VPN, open it up in a private tab in a separate browser that you don't typically use and then possibly take your chances. There's no guaranteed way to prevent malicious actors on the internet but you can at least try. Lastly, don't put any lines in your command tool if you don't know what you're entering. Look it up.
If I think of any other sites to add to this list then I'll update it in the future but for now this will do.
