Kadabra is one of the original 151 Pokémon from the popular franchise. It is the evolution of Abra and the pre-evolution of Alakazam. Despite this, it hasn’t been printed in the popular Trading Card Game (TCG) for about 21 years.
Why?
In the early 2000s, Uri Geller, an Israeli-British illusionist, magician, TV personality and self-proclaimed psychic sued Nintendo over the Pokémon, claiming unauthorized appropriation of himself and his identity.
