Based on my more than 30 years of experience in drawing (I haven't received any formal training), let me get straight to the point and share some tips.
Tip 1:
First and foremost, you need to have an interest. Yes, even if you know that there are no financial gains to be made and you might even end up spending money, if you still want to learn how to draw, then you can get started.

Choose someone or something you like and try to sketch or draw it secretly. When you realize that you're going crazy with excitement over your drawings, seek out a teacher, look for extracurricular books, watch videos, and so on, to observe and imitate.
