Jamaicans are super creative. We have a saying that says, ‘Tun yu hand mek fashion.’ It means to create something amazing out of nothing. In the food world, it means to make a delicious dish from scratch. Living in poverty, we learn to improvise with the help of our creative innovative imagination.
