What the Top 10% Managers Do That the Rest Overlook

Whenever I speak to groups of managers on leadership, I often get asked what is the top characteristic that separates great leaders from the rest. It’s not exactly an easy question to answer, as there are many attributes that separate the truly great leaders from the average and sub-standard boss.

Picking one thing is hard because the context of the job varies from place to place depending on what is needed at that company at that time.

So it’s quite difficult to dispense just one thing that will ensure you are a top boss.

They value their people.
