Inside the world of Reddit’s misogyny
<p>There are wholesome and interesting subreddits. I found myself lost in r/aww and r/ShowerThoughts. However, there is a more sinister side to Reddit – one that the manosphere seemingly multiplies. These subreddits create communities of people that, at best, encourage online harassment and, at worst, real-life violence. For example, the Toronto Van Attack was committed by a man who admitted he used Reddit to chat with other self-proclaimed “incels” and killers.</p>
