Why my SaaS startup raised $125 million in two years to modernize IT Operations globally.

My name is Yasukane (Yasu) Matsumoto and I am a serial entrepreneur from Japan. I founded my first company, Raksul, in 2009 when I was 24, took it public in 2018, became a Harvard Business School case study, and ultimately achieved a billion dollar market cap. I could not be prouder of what the Raksul team has accomplished but I also love the creativity and challenge of making new businesses so for the past two years I have been building Josys.

Our globally distributed team (which is hiring!) built the first prototype in 2021 and then our early growth resulted in a $32 million Series A last year. We offer an integrated SaaS and Device Management platform that enables businesses to automate and streamline the administration of their software applications and hardware devices. Furthermore, Josys provides IT outsourcing services for the entire device lifecycle, covering purchasing, configuration, shipping, repair, and storage of laptops and mobile devices. Take a look at what we offer and consider signing up for a demo here.

Josys is dedicated to tackling the increasing complexities in IT operations uncovered by the COVID-19 pandemic. With the dramatic shift to remote work and the widespread adoption of various SaaS solutions, managing a cohesive IT infrastructure has become increasingly challenging. Enterprises are facing heightened cybersecurity risks, mounting costs of shadow IT due to decentralization, and unregulated technology adoption. Additionally, as companies onboard new remote employees, IT departments have to figure out how to provide efficient provisioning and tracking of necessary devices, while also preventing hardware loss and potential security breaches.
