Why I'm Selling My Bitcoin For USD
<p>Bitcoin is up only 76% since January 1, 2023. Meanwhile, Nvidia is up a staggering 185% year-to-date, and Meta is up 142% since the new year began. After writing about and investing in Bitcoin for years, I've decided to throw in the towel and convert my Bitcoin to greenbacks. I'm tired of enriching all the people who bought early and dumped on retail investors like me, and I have come up with an alternative plan (which I will share).</p>
<p>My conclusion to dump my Bitcoin rests on the following conclusions:</p>
<ul>
<li>Bitcoin doesn't serve any purpose. It's not a functional or reasonable means for transactions.</li>
<li>The crypto space is full of crooks, liars, and charlatans. Everyone talks about how Bitcoin is a great equalizer when it makes everyone equally broke.</li>
<li>Bitcoin is destined to go to $0. Great minds like Peter Schiff, Warren Buffett, and Paul Krugman have a bitter disdain for crypto. The SEC hasn't approved an ETF because it's too dangerous for Americans.</li>
<li>A new cryptocurrency can enter the space and replace Bitcoin at any time. There is no difference between Bitcoin, Dogecoin, or Shiba Inu. They are all figments of a collective distorted reality.</li>
