Why do you have to read a book?

I love it when my girlfriend tells me she just bought a new book.

I was happy when she showed enthusiasm for reading it to me.

Honestly, I love hearing when people are passionate about reading books.

Before, I didn’t like to read books. In my mind at that time, reading books was a boring thing. reading books is a waste of time. Reading books only brings people to all concepts but does not bring people to all practices.

Now I realize that this is the wrong point of view.

In this technological era, in an era where there is so much information that you have to receive every day, you have to be willing to spend a little time filtering which information is valid to receive, and which information is invalid and should be kept away.

I’m worried about parents who live in this day and age, they are faced with the speed of technology but are not supported by good knowledge. Like my mother, who little by little asked me for help to check whether this information was valid or invalid. my father also did the same.

I haven't problem with this. I am ready to be a child who is willing at any time to protect my parents from misinformation. So, what I have to do is start thinking about how I can be the front guard for my parents to fight the invalidity of this information. Because in my opinion, this is very dangerous.

Reading books gives me a way to think and absorb information. Reading books gives me peace when I receive new information. Reading books also helps me in terms of how to think structuredly.
