The White Peacocks of Prague

<p>’s story about <a href="https://medium.com/weeds-wildflowers/watching-peacocks-in-california-65d275c53c0f" rel="noopener">watching peacocks in California</a> and remembered the white peacocks I saw in Prague.</p>
<p>I had entered the courtyard of the Wallenstein Palace Garden, still dizzy from my arrival in the city and my first tentative steps in Old Town.</p>
<p>At the garden I found a beautiful pond, complete with statues from Greek myth, which are my favorite.</p>

<p>As I strolled on the path beside the grass, I caught sight of a brilliant white peacock bathing in the sun. I wanted to shout with delight.</p>
<p>Peacocks always bring me joy, and I’d never seen a white one before. I only wished I had someone to share the moment with. I made do with capturing the bird on my camera to show my family later.</p>
