Just Another (White Girl’s) Guide To Mexico City
<p>An influx of digital nomads have found their way to Mexico City over the past few years and unsurprisingly, it has had a negative impact on the locals. The neighborhoods I am about to recommend you stay in are overrun with techies making SF or NY salaries, and Mexicans that have spent their entire lives there have been priced out as building owners realize they can make more money on short and long term Airbnbs. Obviously I still decided to spend a month in CDMX, paying that higher price tag for a nice Airbnb, but it wasn’t without quite a bit of guilt. So know what you are contributing to when you visit a city like this, and do what you can to be a gracious guest. More on this here.</p>
