It’s Normal for Rich People to Feel Conflicted About Wealth Redistribution
<p>Parts of us want to redistribute more money to live in alignment with our politics, and perhaps to become liberated from our guilt and shame, and prove our “goodness.” Other parts of us want to keep <em>every</em> dollar, to protect us from the threats that they perceive will happen — material scarcity, a loss of belonging, being a failure to our family, or just downright discomfort.</p>
