Aldgate Ward Club
<p>Aldgate is one of the more active <a href="https://medium.com/the-city-of-london/the-citys-ward-clubs-177934baa568" rel="noopener">ward clubs</a> in the City. It offers a broad range of social and fellowship activities to a diverse membership.</p>
<p>It’s location and history means it is also known as the “shipping <a href="https://medium.com/the-city-of-london/the-wards-of-the-city-of-london-a39f2113843?sk=c5064fefd3a7324b8cfb495613292fbe" rel="noopener">Ward</a>” due to the presence of the Baltic Exchange and it being the centre of the shipping business with worldwide importance. It also has close links to the insurance industry but as per its motto, it is “<em>open to all</em>”.</p>
