There He Was

<p>Yesterday we headed to The Shed for an afternoon viewing of&nbsp;<a href="https://variety.com/2023/legit/reviews/here-we-are-review-stephen-sondheim-final-musical-1235764499/" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank"><em>Here We Are</em></a>, the last musical with music &amp; lyrics by the master himself,&nbsp;<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_Sondheim" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">Stephen Sondheim</a>. Although started years ago, many years before his death, it only recently hit the stage. We were curious to see how this would expand from things written by him mid-career like&nbsp;<em>Into the Woods.</em></p> <p>Turns out, despite being based on two Luis Bu&ntilde;uel movies (read more about that in the link to&nbsp;<em>Here We Are</em>&nbsp;above) it still reads like&nbsp;<em>Into the Woods</em>&nbsp;to me. (and sounds a bit like it, too, at least the first act)</p> <p><a href="https://medium.com/@christine.kurihara/there-he-was-bbc166e6ecd9"><strong>Click Here</strong></a></p>
