I am so glad I decided on an apartment closer to the center and not closer to work. Though we do have hybrid work, our office is on the edge of Vienna heading west.
Living close to the center gives me a huge number of options for food, shopping and culture. I can walk to the center of Vienna in about 25 minutes. The area I live in is one of the best areas in Vienna for shopping, food and the main museums are close by (District 6: Mariahilf).
Altogether Vienna is truly a great place to live. It was again voted world’s most livable city this year.
