Weekend Vibes
<p>I headed out early, walking shoes on and a backpack filled with water, a mobile phone, swimmers, glasses, and a laptop. Honestly, the swimmers may stay in backpacks but after yesterday’s heatwave, I was feeling optimistic.</p>
<p>As soon as I hit the pavement, they started. I couldn’t open my mouth for fear I would swallow one. Every step I took meant another would beeline for my face. The flies! Argh! The hot wind yesterday had brought them all to the bay and with the morning stillness, they were not shifting anywhere.</p>
