<p>It appears less likely the Republicans will advance a viable candidate for the 2024 elections, since Donald Trump&rsquo;s conviction for sexual assault and lies, and defaming his victim E. Jean Carroll, for which a jury fined him nearly $90 million dollars on Friday. Mr. Trump has been indicted for four major, alleged crimes, including insurrection, election tampering, bank and insurance fraud, and violation of the Secrets act. In 2018, he and his charity were convicted of fraud and was banned from New York State. Trump and his adult children were barred from being officers of any charity.</p> <p>His businesses were convicted of tax evasion, violation of limits on political donations, fraudulent entries in businesses records, insurance and bank fraud. They will lose some, or all licenses to conduct business in the State of New York and will be fined up to $400 million next week.
