<p><strong>Sports Metaphor</strong><br /> When hockey fans voted to include veteran goon John Scott in the 2016 NHL All-Star competition, no one could have been more surprised than Scott himself. In 286 career NHL games, he scored a measly five goals and six assists while racking up 544 penalty minutes. Those are not all-star numbers, and the league suits made it very clear how they felt about his selection.
