<p>My father, Peter Margolis was still struggling with how to care for me on the first morning of my attendance at my new school, the Genevieve School in Yonkers, New York. It was a Wednesday morning, and a light rain was falling. I was quietly sitting on my bed with my backpack beside me and holding my drawing tablet was in my left hand. Then my father came into the room with a glass of orange juice.</p>
