“My name is Denise, I’m 27 years old. I’ve been living in Dublin, Ireland for seven months now. Today I’m going to share a little of my story with you. A story of faith. A story of risk-taking. A story of when I needed to trust my gut while walking in the darkness. It is also a story of self-discovery and realization. A story we all need to hear during these times of uncertainty.
It’s funny how everything can change in the blink of an eye. In 2018 I didn’t think about going on an international exchange program. I used to have a “happy” life. I had just graduated from college, I was working at a multinational company, I was making good money, and I was in a relationship. So at that point, I only thought about doing the ordinary: getting married, buying a house, having children, and a lot of other things.
