Beauty Breakthroughs: Embracing Growth, Triumph and Nurturing Skin Health
<p>It seems like only <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/9eM58DiE4Q/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">yesterday</a>, but a lot has happened since then. I have some great news to share, but I thought it would be helpful for both our sakes if I began with a brief recap of how I got here.</p>
<p>Some of you know that I started my career as a special effects makeup artist in LA. I was starstruck by celebrities but eventually found my true calling back in Vancouver. After a brief stint in funeral home makeup, I transitioned into the film industry, working on TV series like “Jump Street” and “MacGyver.”</p>
<p>However, my heart led me to volunteer with the Cancer Society’s Look Good, Feel Better program, where I styled wigs and offered makeup services.</p>
