FAQ for Booking Your “Type II” Fun Trekking Vacation

Q: What exactly is “trekking”?

Walking on rough terrain, usually uphill, for multiple days in a row for no good reason.

Q: Is there a lot of walking on this trip?

You will walk 10–20 miles daily to your lodging while carrying a heavy backpack like a mule.

Q: Do I need to train for this?

Yes, we recommend you hike up steep mountains every day for six months before the trip in preparation. If you don’t live near steep mountains, you can walk up 28 flights of stairs 3x a day carrying a 50 lb kettlebell while wearing a poncho to optimize sweating. It’s also helpful to have someone sporadically spray you with a hose to simulate bad weather.
