I just got back from three months living and working in Buenos Aires. Here’s my recap of favorite places and things to do!

Buenos Aires is a city that resembles parts of both Europe and South America. It’s a huge city made up of almost 50 neighborhoods, and it sprawls beyond the horizon. There are old historical areas with cobblestone streets, and also new trendy zones with hipster coffee shops and street art.

The first thing locals will tell you about Buenos Aires is that it’s a city of immigrants. Most the families residing in the city came from other countries. The influence of Italian culture is the most prominent, with homemade pasta and pizza shops on every corner. Other food and drink staples of the city include empanadas, steak, red wine, and yerba mate.
