Beauty: Travel Essentials
<p>As your departure date draws near, an electric buzz fills the air. Time seems to slow down. It’s that mix of excitement and nervous energy that dances in your stomach, reminding you that adventure awaits just around the corner. I enjoy having a trip on the calendar, even if its six months out. The countdown to your next journey has begun, and with it comes the anticipation of eating new foods, experiencing different cultures, and being somewhere you’ve never been. I start to image the next week, for example, on the Sunday before I leave, I’ll say to myself, <em>next Sunday I’ll be in Austin</em>. Makes the trip last longer, for me, somehow. But before I’m ready to take off for a flight, I ensure I have the right travel essentials to make all the difference between a smooth journey and a chaotic scramble.</p>
