India — Traffic in Delhi, India

This was my second visit to Delhi, and despite living in Southeast Asia for several years, I was still shocked by the city’s traffic madness.

At roundabouts, cars were coming in from the side roads thinking they had the right of way, hence pandemonium. Cars everywhere.

And just because there are markings for two or three lanes on the road doesn’t mean you have to use them. If there are two, why not drive if there are three or four? With markings for three lanes, why not form at least four lanes at traffic lights and roundabouts?

And the car horn — use it all the time.
