Town Rallies To Save LGBTQ-Friendly Business
<p>A lot of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people feel discouraged and set upon lately. What we’re calling the “LGBTQ Backlash” has unleashed a lot of seriously toxic discourse on the public stage, not to mention an avalanche of state and local lawmaking designed to erase or stigmatize us.</p>
<p>I don’t want to get into details now, because this is a story about hope and optimism on the ground — at a local, human-to-human level that transcends partisan politics.</p>
