Topl Spotlight #10: Creating Common Impact Language With Ecological Benefits Framework’s Or Katzman

Hey there, I’m Or! I spent years studying climate, water, and geopolitics and then took that knowledge to impact measurement and management. I worked on projects such as SDG Israel, a community I co-founded in Tel Aviv (where I’m originally from!). Our goal was to help companies understand the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and how they could make these goals relevant to their businesses. I’ve always loved the idea of businesses driving change. Before SDG Israel, I had worked mainly in the nonprofit and education sectors. Important fields, no doubt, but I felt that businesses had this fantastic — and untapped — potential to be agents of change. In 2017, I started learning about blockchain. My first foray was a bit rough, as I found myself in all these scammy groups filled with toxicity.
