A Black Man Is Being Rewarded For Tolerating Abuse From A White Woman
<p>I’m sure most of us have heard this story by now.</p>
<p>Jerry Edmond, a Black man, attended his first NFL game last Saturday when his team, the New England Patriots, played the Las Vegas Raiders at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.</p>
<p>This should have been a happy and joyous occasion for Edmond, probably something he dreamed of doing his entire life. But — as we know, America can’t tolerate Black joy in any form.</p>
<p>Decked out in his New England Patriots gear, he did what he was supposed to do, <em>cheer for his team</em>.</p>
