<p>One of my good memories was being deployed into Sri Lanka to help build their community after the Tsunami.</p>
<p>As poor as they seemed to be ripped away from their assets, life went on. The men sought work from responding countries who came to aid them in their nation building.</p>
<p>Their generosity and eagerness to come together to rebuild their living conditions were inspiring.</p>
<p>Once, my team witnessed neighbors quarreled over the landscape space while we were painting the school. However, one particular night we also witnessed their magnanimous heart. — Their strength!</p>

<p>After a few days of hard labor, we decided to chill at the beach.</p>
<p>I would say it was an ocean, deep indeed. I climbed to the top of the cliffs with my buddy officer and found the waves splashed onto the giant rock aggressively.</p>
<p>It was scary.</p>
<p>The others started to socialize with the locals. There were men who tried shoving drugs around. We were alerted by one of our teammates. We kept closed watch over <em>our girls</em>.</p>
