The Rolling Stones Are Back With a New Album

I just woke up to some awesome music news. The Rolling Stones are making a comeback.

Yes, you read it right, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood have picked up their guitars and plugged in the amps for a new album called Hackney Diamonds.

The announcement comes almost two decades after their last original album, A Bigger Bang (2005), and amid the heartbreaking loss of the band’s iconic drummer, Charlie Watts.

Well, I thought this day would never come when I heard Charlie had passed, on the eve of my birthday on August 24, 2021, at age 80.

Thank the Rock gods, I was wrong.

My fingers are still tickling with excitement, and I’ll probably flunk this story, as I am just typing away on my phone while having breakfast.

The Rolling Stones comeback arrives right on time, as I’ve been pounding the theory that has been haunting the genre for years: the myth that Rock ‘n’ Roll is dead.

Rock music has been pronounced dead many times, yet it continues to rise from the ashes.

However, it’s not, about an attitude of defiance in the face of an ever-evolving musical landscape; it’s about progressing, adjusting and consistently proving the skeptics wrong.

The Rolling Stones are a prime example of this spirit. Having formed in 1962, they have managed to maintain their status and immense popularity for more than fifty years.

In my eye, their musical trip through the annals of rock history is nothing short of spectacular.
