An Intersection Between Science and the Divine

I’ve never been a fan of math, especially geometry. Probably has to do with my never managing decent grades in the subject when I was in school. I did manage to eventually master enough I was able to take a robotics program in college.

When I first heard the term ‘scared geometry’ I thought someone was trying to be funny. I’d never heard the term. Now, I find it a fascinating subject, naturally occuring mathematical precision. Wonder how I would have viewed learning math if I’d known about the mystic of sacred geometry?

In the earliest ancient times the human tendency to seek meaning in patterns was the main method of ‘learning’. Observations became part of spiritual beliefs over time. Wanting to understand our origin story is truly as old as time itself.

As mathematical knowledge and understanding deepened and some of those patterns could be explained with mathematical principles, the earlier spiritual observations merged with the math knowledge. It’s an interesting union, the unknown of what is our origin and the certainty of mathematical principles.
