The Day My Dog Was Choked to Death

We all love dogs, right? And even if you don’t, you wouldn’t want this to happen to any living thing with a heartbeat.

I was 15 years old. It was a long time ago, but it still feels like yesterday, and I remember every single detail.

I’ll tell you all about it, maybe to prevent such cases in the future and take better care of your pets or animals in general.

This is a very sad story about my dog’s death. If it’s too much for you, please feel free to stop reading.

I won’t share any photos or videos, and even if I wanted to, I don’t have one because it’s a long time ago. (He looks exactly as in the picture.)

So, in our family, we had a cocker spaniel that my brother bought and wanted us to have as a family pet. Like many parents, mine didn’t like the idea.

It’s not because they don’t love dogs, but because of how they make a mess when they’re puppies and how much care they need.

We convinced them that we would take care of everything, and, as always with the same lovely story, they fell in love with Leo (my dog’s name).

He became a new member of the family. He was so cute and friendly that even our neighbors, including those who don’t like dogs, loved him.

Leo came as a puppy and lived with us for 2 years, until one day something terrible happened.

We had a family helper who came every day from 7 am in the morning and left around 10 pm because my mother had problems with her back and couldn’t do the housework, and my father was in the army.

She was the one who mostly took care of Leo; they were best friends, and sometimes we thought he loved her the most.
